All Time Low Digipak Analysis

I am analysing All time low's album 'Dirty work'. The reason I am analysis this digipack is because it is similar to the genre I am doing. The photo on the front of the cover of the case is a long shot of the band standing in a line side by side, with the vocalist popping a bottle of champagne with the name of the band (All Time Low) above the four of them. The band are all wearing suits to show that they are sophsticated, however Alex is stood with a bottle of champagne and wearing sunglasses, these things are typical conventions of Rock music and what you would expect to see from a Rock band. Alex's stance suggests that the band are a bit strange or quirky, which fits in to the genre as it is not quite pop but is not quite punk, so merging the two tegether and creating pop punk. The colour scheme is mainly blue but with a black glossy floor which makes the album appealing and stand out to the audience. Alex who is the singer is stood in the middle of the picture and is slightly more forward than the others, this could be because he is the lead vocalist and could be a use of the star image as the focus is on him and he is the only one doing something drawing your attention to him.
On the back of the album the cover is a close up a swimming pool with a blow up doll and some ballon guitars just floating in the water. This suggests that there has been a party recently there and typically in the rock genre, bands are noitorious for wild parties and getting drunk, which links back to the front cover as Alex is holding a a bottle of alcohol. At a wild party you would expect to see these ballons and blow up dolls, it is conventional to a modern teen party which shows both the pop and the rock side of the genre.
The cover of the CD is the silhouettes of the band from the front cover with the bands name 'All Time Low' repeated in the background.
