Digipak research
A digipak is a packaging for CD's or DVD's which are typically made out of cardboard and plastic which holds one or more disks. The first digipak was made by MeadWestvaco and their product "digi-pak" is trademarked. However nowadays it is very common and popular, it is used by most artists. Artists use them creatively to express themselves and what the album is about. It emphasises the artists brand and also makes it appealing to the target audience so it sells more copies.
